The Assembly Place-TS Group JV bags contract for foreign healthcare workers’ lodging facilities

MOH Holdings had introduced an inquiry for proposal in August of last year to designate an operator to retrofit unused buildings and manage hostel-type accommodation for recent overseas healthcare workers on five locations, including the sites at 1A Short Street, 107 Circuit Road and 36 and 38 Teck Whye Crescent. 1A Short Street is the site of a former student hostel, while the last 2 are spots of former colleges.
The lodging establishment at Short Street is aim to be functional by the second half of this year, while the various other two sites are going to welcome healthcare professionals in 1H2025. Together, the facilities are projected to fit 1,180 overseas health care workers.
