Office utilisation rates in Apac highest in the world: JLL

JLL’s report highlights that Apac inhabitants are heading in with regards to effective workplace usage, with the region recording the lowest discrepancy between its targeted and real office usage rates.

According to JLL, 90% of workplace tenants in Apac are willing to pay a costs for such tech-enabled places.

The Asia Pacific (Apac) region has a standard office utilisation rate of 55%– the highest globally. This is according to study results published in a May analysis record by worldwide residential property working as a consultant JLL. In comparison, the typical worldwide exercise rate is 49%.

“By investing in new systems, leveraging utilisation data, and continually enhancing the scale and accuracy of utilisation for place of work supervision, corporations can guarantee they are efficiently showing the work environment’s changing demands,” says Koul.

On the flipside, Apac has the most affordable percentage of workers with a completely remote timetable at 11%, compared to the international average of 14%.

The Apac area also projected the highest possible percentage of employees that have gone back to a five-day labour week in the workplace at 22%. This is double the percentages in The United States and Canada, Latin America, and Europe and the Middle East, where between 10% and 11% of workers are fully back in the workplace.

This comes despite the widespread adoption of hybrid doing the job practices following the pandemic. JLL’s study suggests that 84% of organisations in Apac have embraced a combination program. Nevertheless, this is below the international adoption rate of 87%.

It also has the most affordable workplace frequency worldwide, with each seat occupying approximately 129 rentable sq ft (RSF). In comparison, the global common stands at 167 RSF for every seat.
